Right Here, Right Now

Right Here, Right Now

Ultimately, everything that has happened before, is of little use right here, right now. So much of our time is spent tending to old wounds, grieving old friendships, or nourishing traumatic experiences from our past.  But we are where we are, right now, living this day for a purpose.

Now, if we examine ourselves and take notice, how many of us are truly available for God’s purpose ? Available means that our hearts and minds are set on Him. It means that we listen, and look for His divine direction in every aspect of our lives. It means that where He leads, we will follow.

Family, It’s because of your brokenness, that God  can use you. Your pain allows you to be more empathetic, your experience helps you to know victory in Christ Jesus, and your loss will give you a deeper appreciation for what is to come. But carrying your past hurts and disappointments, as if you can’t live without them, only distracts you from the present moment.

Right here, right now, let’s be clear about what truly matters, which is where we are going, and not where we’ve been. Every morning is a brand new gift from our Heavenly Father. An opportunity for new beginnings. For fresh starts. Let’s empty ourselves as useful vessels in the Kingdom of God and allow Him to fill us with the Holy Spirit, spreading the forgiveness, patience, joy and love He so graciously gives to us.

”The wicked lie in ambush to destroy me, but I’m only concerned with your plans for me. I see the limits to everything human, but the horizons can’t contain your commands!”Psalm 119:96

Now, If you would….. just close your eyes and see yourself as stronger, fully equipped, and repurposed for this stage of your journey.

Open your eyes and permit yourself to feel different.  To feel better. Choose to be the best version of you.

Because you were fearfully and wonderfully made.
