I write about my life so that you might find comfort in knowing you are not alone in yours. I pray that you too will grow in the knowledge, wisdom, love, mercy, and grace that God so generously makes available to each of us. Remember, we were created by and for HIS divine purpose. We are to use our lives for building God‘s Kingdom. Everything on this earth is temporal and only the things that we do for Christ’s sake will last.
So, live on purpose. Examine how you engage the world and how you impact others. Self-centered, selfish people are only concerned about themselves. But as a child of God you have been commanded to love others and treat everyone the way you want to be treated. Okay, I know you’ve probably heard that 1000 times. But I’d like for you to read that sentence again. Because far too many are not obeying this command. I know, it’s not easy. Especially when we’ve been disappointed, misused, hurt, dismissed, rejected by someone in our lives. But hear me when I say, their disobedience, does not give you permission to disobey God‘s command.

I loved when you wrote: "their disobedience, does not give you permission to disobey God‘s command." Just this morning, the enemy planted a thought in my mind about how someone treated me and how I should retaliate. The Holy Spirit was quick to swoop in to say, "Cast all your cares on to the Lord. Don't even entertain the devil's evil thought one second more!" I obeyed. And, your post popped into my email box minutes later -- as a confirmation. Oh, how I love the Lord. Thanks, Sis, for your obedience in listening and penning His conversations with you.
