Graciously Gray

Updated: Jan 11

Why? Because at this particular stage of our journey, we embrace our well-seasoned lives, having no desire to relive our youth. Instead, we yearn to share the wisdom we’ve gained from years of lived experiences. We perceive invitations rather than interruptions, and the well-worn pews, collected sermons and witnessed testimonies helped to keep us on the narrow path. Reading the Word of God, hearing its teachings, and living in accordance with its principles brings us blessings and fosters a deeper connection with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Time and experience has lead us to a place where we are less concerned with acceptance, and mere recognition from audiences. We are more concerned with leading others to inner peace and authority in Christ Jesus. Trusting the process, chapter-by-chapter, challenge-after-challenge, has made us a well-seasoned, graciously gray warrior.

I am graciously gray, although my crown is still donning a shade from my youth😊 I know the beauty of being a little higher on the aging rung of life, is to be able to accept your age but to live unapologetically God’s path for you.  And, I do so with respect and honor to all my sisters and brothers who are living their paths as well.  I am always thankful when our paths cross because I always learn something new.  So, I raise my arms to praise the One who will never, never fail me! I Trust in God.
