May the season of Christmas remind you of the gifts God so freely gave to us. Through the birth of his son, Jesus Christ, we have all the peace, love, and forgiveness that we need.

When a perpetual disconnect, between yourself and a loved one extends beyond your ability to repair it, keep believing in the One who is our Prince of peace.

When a work situation has become more complicated than you think you can handle, keep believing in the One who restores your soul.

When an illness alludes physicians, testing and treatments, keep believing in the One who heals the sick.

When the evils of the world become too great for you to rest, keep believing in the One who says:

'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's.’

When your prayers seem to go unanswered, keep believing. “But first, seek the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

My dear readers, His promises are true, and He loves you. Just keep believing 🙏🏽

Every morning is a new day!

No one on earth knows exactly what the day will become. No one knows exactly how anything will look. Everything ahead of us is going to happen for the first time. There is so much potential, and power revealed in that realization. Yet, for far too many, they will allow yesterday to destroy this beautiful gift before leaving their bed.

Although, she went to bed angry with her husband, disappointed by her child’s behavior, frustrated by her bosses unreasonable demands, and concerned about a recent lab report; she recognizes the potentials of a “New Day!” She realizes the importance of leaving yesterday behind, and moving forward.

One woman wakes up, before her eyes are open, she reaches for the tv remote with one hand and her cell phone with the other. Both the phone and the television flood her mind with a recap of not only yesterday’s news, but also everything that occurred while she was asleep. Immediately, the negativity of yesterday has stained, and altered, even ruined this brand “new day”.  It is humanly impossible for her to see the morning as new. No desire for a repeat of yesterday, she begins to pray. But, from a defensive standpoint.

She will now make choices for today, based on her thoughts and feelings of yesterday. What is most damaging is that the negative impact of yesterday will be prominent. Subconsciously, she will expect a repeat of yesterday. Now, she has already given the enemy an advantage.

Another woman wakes up, opens her eyes, assessing her physicality, closes her eyes and begins to worship God. She gives Him praise and honor for waking her up to see a “new day”. She thanks her Heavenly Father for her health and for her strength. She thanks Him for the blessed opportunity to be better, and to do better in her home, in her family, in ministry, and the world she engages.  She prays an intercessory prayer, and ask the Lord to strengthen and encourage her faith. Now, armed in the whole armor of God, she is ready for the wiles of the devil.

Your perspective is your choice. Choose a healthy, positive way of seeing things. Develop an optimistic expectation for your life, established in faith. Know that God wants you to enjoy a life of peace, good health, and prosperity.

“For his anger last only a moment, but his favor last a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” Psalm 30: 5
